1- The best of companions in the sight of Allah, the Almighty, is the best of them to his companion, and the best of neighbors in the sight of Allah, the Almighty, is the best of them to his neighbor

2- The best of people is the one whose life is long and his deeds are good

3- Perhaps a disheveled, rejected person at the doors, if he were to swear by Allah, He would fulfill his oath

4- Where is the one who was swearing by Allah that he would not do a favor?

5- I stood at the gate of Paradise and saw that most of those who entered it were the poor and destitute. The people of means were held back

6- We used to set aside for the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) his share of milk, and he would come at night and offer greetings in a tone that did not disturb those who were asleep but was heard by those who were awake

7- Is anyone of you unable to earn a thousand good deeds every day?

8- I believe you heard that Abu ‘Ubaydah has returned from Bahrain with something

9- By Allah, there is no true life except that of the Hereafter, so forgive the Ansār (Supporters) and the Muhājirah (Emigrants)

10- Indeed, this world is cursed, and everything in it is cursed, except for the remembrance of Allah, what aligns with it, and a scholar or a knowledge seeker

11- Richness is not the abundance of wealth. Rather, true richness is self-sufficiency

12- The liar is not the one who seeks reconciliation between people, conveying good, or saying good things

13- This one is better than an earthful of the other

14- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was never asked anything and said 'no'

15- If the believer were to know what is with Allah of punishment, no one would hope to enter Paradise, and if the non-believer were to know what is with Allah of mercy, no one would despair of entering Paradise

16- By Allah, the world is less worthy to Allah than this is to you

17- Whoever spends something in the cause of Allah, it will be recorded for him as much as seven hundred times

18- Who can guarantee for me that he will never ask people for something, and I will guarantee for him Paradise

19- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) passed by us while we were repairing a hut that we owned

20- If only he had mentioned the name of Allah, it would have been enough for all of you

21- Get together over your food and mention the name of Allah, so that it will be blessed for you

22- Do not take two at a time, for indeed the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade taking two at a time. Then he said: Unless one asks for his brother's permission

23- When I was taken on an ascent to heaven, I passed by a group of people (in Hellfire) with copper nails scratching their faces and chests

24- The guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me are like abundant rain that fell on some ground

25- This fire is your enemy, so put it out before going to bed

26- Are you not (living) in ease, with food and drink as much as you desire? I have seen your Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him), and he could not even find low-quality dates to fill his stomach

27- Encouraging towards the eternal bliss of Paradise and warning of the severe torment of Hellfire

28- This man followed us. If you wish, allow him to come in, and if you wish, he will go back

29- I saw the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) eating with three fingers, and when he finished eating, he would lick them

30- One who serves people to drink should be the last to drink

31- I gave the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) Zamzam water to drink and he drank while standing

32- O people of the Ansār, did I not find you in a state of misguidance then Allah guided you aright through me? Were you not divided then Allah brought you together through me? Were you not in a state of poverty then Allah made you wealthy through me?

33- In Madīnah, there are people who are with you whenever you cover a distance or cross a valley. They have been detained by illness

34- The son of Adam does not fill any vessel worse than his stomach. It is enough for the son of Adam to eat a few mouthfuls to straighten his back, but if he must (fill his stomach), then one third for his food, one third for his drink, and one third for his breath

35- Paradise and Hellfire were presented to me, and I have never seen anything like today in terms of good and evil. If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much

36- Whenever the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) finished eating, he would say: Allah be praised with an abundant, sincere, and blessed praise. O our Lord, You are not in need of anyone, and we cannot do without Your favor nor dispense with it

37- Jibrīl came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: How do you rate the people who participated in the battle of Badr among you? He said: They are from the best of Muslims

38- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to stand by the trunk of a date-palm tree while delivering the sermon. When a pulpit was placed in the mosque, we heard the trunk crying out like a pregnant she-camel until the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) came down from the pulpit and placed his hand over it and it became quiet.

39- The believer should not be stung twice from the same hole

40- Allah, Glorified and Exalted, wonders at those people who will enter Paradise in chains

41- I was walking with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and he was wearing a Najrāni cloak with a thick hem. A Bedouin approached him and pulled him violently by his cloak

42- During the Prophet's lifetime, we would eat while walking and would drink while standing

43- Do not say "upon you be peace"; "Upon you be peace" is how you greet the dead. Say instead "peace be upon you"

44- If the son of Adam were to possess two valleys full of wealth, he would seek the third

45- O Allah, You are my Supporter and my Helper. With Your help I get strength, and with Your help I pounce upon the enemy and defeat it, and with Your help I fight

46- Two supplications are never rejected, or are rarely rejected: supplication made upon hearing the call to prayer and during battle when the two armies are engaged in fighting

47- There were among the nations before you people who were inspired. If there is any of such among my followers, then it is ‘Umar

48- A mount was brought to ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) to ride on, and when he put his foot in the stirrup, he said: In the name of Allah

49- Allāhumma inni a‘ūdhu bika min munkarāti al-akhlāqi wal-a‘māli wal-ahwā’ (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from evil morals, deeds, and desires)

50- If you are three, then two should not converse privately with the exclusion of the third, until more people join you, because that would grieve him

51- No one of you should drink while standing

52- No man should move another from the place he is sitting then sit in it. Instead, make room and spread out

53- The young should greet the old, the passer-by should greet the one who is sitting, and the small group of people should greet the larger one

54- When a group of people pass by, it is sufficient if one of them extends the greetings on their behalf, and it is sufficient if one returns the greeting on behalf of a group

55- The pleasure of Allah is in the pleasure of the parents, and the displeasure of Allah is in the displeasure of the parents

56- Travel is a portion of torment

57- Whoever gives up wearing elegant expensive clothes out of humbleness with Allah, while he can afford it, Allah will call him on the Day of Judgment before all people and let him choose whichever of the garments of faith he would like to wear

58- Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy

59- None of you should drink while standing, and whoever forgets, then let him induce vomit

60- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited drinking directly from the mouth of a waterskin

61- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade turning the waterskins upside down and drinking from their mouths

62- that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited blowing in one's drink

63- I passed by the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and my lower garment was trailing. Therefore, he said: O ‘Abdullāh, pull up your lower garment. I raised it and he said: Up! So I raised it further, and I have been doing so since then. Some people said: Up to where? He said: To the middle of the shins

64- O Allah, we ask You to ward them off (from their throats), and we seek Your protection against their evil

65- The lasting good deeds are the statements: There is no god but Allah, glory be to Allah, Allah is the greatest, praise be to Allah, there is no power or might except with Allah

66- O Allah, I ask You by virtue of my testimony that You are Allah; there is no God but You, the One, the Eternal Refuge, Who did not beget, and was not begotten, and to Whom no one is equal

67- O Allah, just as You made my external form beautiful, make my character beautiful as well

68- A believer is the mirror of his fellow believer

69- And verily, Allah revealed to me that you must be humble, so that no one boasts of oneself before another or oppresses another

70- Verily you cannot embrace and suffice all people with your money, but you can embrace and suffice them all with a cheerful face and good manners

71- Never does the son of Adam do any deed that can save him from Allah's punishment more than remembering Allah

72- Whoever exalts himself over others and walks with a swaggering gait (with pride), will meet Allah while He is angry with him

73- If a Muslim visits his sick fellow Muslim, he will remain in the Khurfah of Paradise tills he leaves returns

74- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was given something to drink, so he drank from it, and there was a boy on his right

75- None of you should wish for death. Either he is a doer of good, so he may do more good; or he is an evildoer, so he may give up evil deeds

76- Whenever the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) ate food, he would lick his three fingers

77- I came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) while he was giving a sermon

78- The example of the companion of the Qur’an is like the owner of tied camels. If he keeps them tied, he will hold them; but if he releases them, they will run away

79- That he passed by some boys, so he greeted them with Salām and said that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to do so

80- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man praising another and exaggerating in his praise, whereupon he said: You have ruined - or cut - the man's back.

81- Woe unto you! You have cut the neck of your companion

82- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) forbade traveling with the Qur’an to the land of enemies

83- Give my cloak back to me. Were I to have camels equal to the number of these trees, I would distribute them all among you, and you would not have found me a miser, a liar, or a coward

84- Will you not listen? Will you not listen? Simplicity is part of faith, simplicity is part of faith

85- O ‘Ā’ishah, indeed, Allah is gentle and He loves gentleness, and He gives for gentleness what He does not give for violence and what He does not give for anything else

86- Indeed you possess two traits that Allah loves: prudence and deliberation

87- What is left of it (the sheep)? She replied: Nothing is left except its shoulder. He said: All of it is left except its shoulder

88- Indeed, many women have come to the family of Muhammad complaining about their husbands. Those (men) are not the best among you

89- All rights will be restored on the Day of Judgment, until even the hornless sheep will settle its score with the horned one

90- The wealth of a man will not diminish by charity; Allah augments the honor of a man who endures an oppression patiently; and he who opens a gate of begging, Allah opens a gate of poverty

91- The example of a miser and a generous person is that of two men wearing two iron cloaks covering their breasts up to their collar bones

92- Allāhumma inni a‘ūdhu bika min al-‘ajzi wal-kasal, wal-jubni wal-bukhl, wal-harami wa ‘adhāb al-qabr. Allāhumma āti nafsi taqwāha, wa zakkiha anta khayru man zakkāha, anta waliyyuha wa mawlāha. Allāhumma inni a‘ūdhu bika min ‘ilmin la yanfa‘, wa min qalbin la yakhsha‘, wa min nafsin la tashba‘, wa min da‘watin la yustajābu laha" (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from inability, indolence, cowardice, miserliness, decrepitude, and torment of the grave. O Allah, grant me the sense of piety and purify my soul as You are the Best to purify it. You are its Protector and its Guardian. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from knowledge that is not beneficial, from a heart that does not fear, from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered)

93- O Allah, I seek refuge in You from hunger, for it is an evil bed-fellow, and I seek refuge in You from treachery, for it is an evil hidden trait

94- Say: Allāhumma ikfini bihalālika ‘an harāmik waghnini bifadlika ‘amman siwāk (O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful against what You have made unlawful, and make me with Your bounty in no need of anyone besides You)

95- While a man was walking, dressed in fine clothes and admiring himself, with his hair well-combed

96- While we were on a journey with the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) a man came while riding a mount of his

97- O Abu al-Hasan, how is the Messenger of Allah this morning? He said: He is feeling better this morning, by the grace of Allah

98- O Allah, I seek refuge with You from incapacity, laziness, cowardice, senility, and miserliness. And I seek refuge with You from the torment of the grave. And I seek refuge with You from the trials of life and death

99- When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) traveled, he would seek refuge from the hardships of the journey, from having a change of heart, adverse conditions replacing good ones, the prayer of an oppressed person, and from seeing a misfortune occurring to his family and wealth

100- The lonely rider is a devil, two riders are two devils and three are a traveling team
